The star-studded film is now available on the platform for MENA subscribers
The critically acclaimed and 2022 Oscar nominated House of Gucci is now available on STARZPLAY, MENA region’s fastest growing subscription video on demand (SVOD) service. The film, which premiered in cinemas in November, has begun streaming exclusively in the MENA region on STARZPLAY on February 23.
House of Gucci tells the tale of Patrizia Reggiani, played by Lady Gaga, an outsider from humble beginnings, who marries into the Gucci family. Her uninhibited determination sets off a reckless domino effect of betrayal, decadence, revenge and eventually murder.
Directed by legendary film maker Ridley Scott, the film is jampacked with talent – Adam Driver as Maurizio Gucci, Al Pacino as Aldo Gucci, Salma Hayek as Giuseppina Auriemma and Jared Leto as Paolo Gucci.
The film is based on the bestselling book by Sara Gay Forden, titled The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed.
To complement the premiere, a biographical documentary on the same story, Lady Gucci, is also available for subscribers to watch on the Discovery+ add on channel on STARZPLAY. In the documentary, the former Mrs. Gucci tells her story in an exclusive interview.
