First on the list, we have Christen Dominique. The LA-Based MUA has a whopping 4.27 million YouTube subscribers; however, this will come as no surprise to you if you watch one of her videos. Christen is extremely personable, and that comes across in her videos; she has the ability to make you feel like she’s talking to you instead of at you. Her videos are beginner-friendly and easy to follow. If you want to learn anything from everyday glam to 5-minute no makeup-makeup routines, Christen is your girl. She has her own makeup brand, so you could purchase a few items to use along with her videos.
Bailey Sarian
If you love story-times, mystery and bold eye-makeup looks, look no further than Bailey Sarian. Every Monday, she posts a segment on her channel called “Murder Mystery and Makeup Mondays”, where she does her makeup as well as talks about prolific solved and unsolved murder mysteries. Bailey’s makeup skills draw you in, but it is her storytelling capabilities that keep you hooked. She delivers bold, glamorous looks along with chilling stories making your time spent getting ready much more entertaining.

If you have also fallen into the rabbit hole that is commentary YouTube, then you might have come across YouTuber Kennie JD. Along with GRWM’s, Kennie has a segment on her channel called “Bad Movies and a Beat”, where she picks apart some of the most famous and infamous moves in pop culture. She does so hilariously whilst creating amazing, subtly themed looks. Her opinions are poignant, and her observations will make you say, “Huh, why didn’t I notice that before?”. Kaushal is the YouTuber you go to if you have a bustling social life. With a busy social life of her own, Kaushal has looks for everything; weddings, date nights, parties, brunch, you name it. She has a slew of looks from casual to glam that will be great whatever the occasion. Her GRWMs are like having a catch up with one of your gal pals; they give small insights into what is going on in her life and overall make for some wholesome content.

Finally, we have Painted by Spencer. Spencer is my all-time favourite makeup artist. He is the transformation king! If you’re looking to work some magic, then his breathtaking looks are the way to go. His base makeup skills are unmatched, and he has an array of tutorials, and they are quite easy to follow. His models are diverse in terms of race and age, ensuring that there is something for everyone.
