I think march is not just a time to celebrate women, but every month of the year should be a time to celebrate women in our lives. It’s inspiring to see how women are transforming the world, whether it’s being a full-time mom to a 9- to 5-job or being an influencer and empowering others. It was impossible to think of another body better suited to grace our January-March cover than Sydney Morgan, an artist with over 9 million followers on social media. Her inspiring journey through mental and When Sydney was in her junior year of high school, she was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. As a result, she spent years in and out of the hospital, undergoing several surgeries, but that didn’t stop her from achieving her dreams and doing what she loves.
Sydney began posting makeup tutorials on social media. Her fans loved her creativity and encouraged her to post more, leading to her posting more creative makeup looks. “I love sharing that part of my life with my followers and trying to educate people who might not have ever heard of Crohn’s disease or Ulcerative Colitis. And for those who have heard of it, or are IBD patients themselves, I want to show them that the disease does not limit me from doing anything that I want to do and it shouldn’t for them.” Says Sydney
