Alexis Griswold is a twenty-two years old model, Instagram influencer and YouTube content creator based in Los Angeles, California. She released her very first YouTube video in March 2019. Lexi posed for Fashion Nova, Motel Rocks, KO watches and others. This year, Lexi is expanding her business, working on large campaigns and launching her new website.
Do you think education is important for those who are popular on social media platforms?
Education is vital because when having a platform, it’s important to share information with your followers and essential to share accurate information. And share things that can turn someone’s day around.
What is the most memorable lesson or advice you learned from your parents?
My parents taught me when I start something that I need to finish it.
What has been your biggest challenge in life?
Stepping out of my shell and getting out of my comfort zone. I was super shy growing up and still am but have worked on it a lot, but I do struggle with being more outspoken in certain circumstances.
How do you overcome your insecurities?
Finding the things I do love about myself and seeing how I can fix my insecurity, I can work on to make myself better.
How do you think your focus on female empowerment helped your audience?
Showing women that you can do anything and be a boss; That they can chase their dreams without the need of anyone’s help to do so. To let go of any fears they may be holding on to.
How will your brand new website be different from others?
It will be different because I will be showing my real self – showing everything, even the mistakes I make. Most people only show the good times, and I want to also show the bad because there are both good and bad times in life.
What campaigns do you usually support and promote?
I support many causes, from saving & preservation, BLM to PETA.
How long have you been living a vegan lifestyle?
Since January 2021.
What is your greatest accomplishment that you are proud of?
Moving to LA all on my own from moving out of my parent’s house.
Any tips for those who want to start creating content on YouTube?
Be original. Don’t compare. Have patience. It’s not going to happen overnight, and put in the work and be consistent!
How would you describe your fashion style in three words?
Simple, sporty, dressy.
