Coachella, one of the biggest Festivals in the United States is back with a bang after a two-year hiatus. This festival has been known throughout the years for all the iconic fashion looks from the performers and the attendees alike, and this year is no different, especially with the heavy influence of TV shows like Euphoria and the rise of dopamine dressing, we can see an influx of neon colors, chains, crazy prints, florals, rainbow sequence, bold makeup and so much more.
With about 750,000 attendees over the course of both weekends, this festival is considered a safe place for people to express themselves through their clothes and makeup without being judged.
Here’s what some of the festivalgoers wore on the first weekend.
YouTuber and Podcaster Emma Chamberlain looked Coachella ready in her high neckline printed romper, that she paired with biker shades, a two-toned fanny pack, and black combat boots. This look had fans calling her the new Queen of Coachella looks.
Pearls were all the rage in this year’s Coachella. French travel, fashion and lifestyle influencer Meryl Denis gave us some serious Fairy vibes in her all-white outfit, composed of a white tank top and midi skirt with a slit, that she bedazzled with her BELLULULU Pearl shoulder necklace with gold detailing.
Sequins, glitter, pearls and sparkles took over the festival both on and off stage, from Harry Styles wearing a rainbow sequin jumpsuit, to Riverdale actress Vanessa Morgan dazzling in a sequined skirt and an equally shiny bralette.
Cowgirl fashion was very popular on the 1st weekend of Coachella. Many attendees proudly wore their festival chaps pants, while Model Karen Chaiane decided to put a spin on her look, and opted for a pink ombre two-piece composed of a cropped shirt that ties at the front and a skirt. She accessorized with a pink bedazzled cowgirl hat with a rhinestone drip fringe, white cowgirl boots, a chocker, bracelets and a few rings.
Crochet and netted outfits have always been and will forever remain an integral part of Coachella. Brazilian model Alessandra Ambrosio chose a white crochet jumpsuit with rhinestone detailing from PatBo, a black and red slouchy bag, and matching red sunglasses to kick off the 1st day of the festival in style.
