After so many season delays and cancellations, Schiaparelli Haute Couture starts the year off strong with its Spring/Summer 2022 collection and blows people’s minds. Roseberry has created a dramatic and extravagant collection without resorting to the usual theatric tropes. He stripped it all back, tossing off the crutches that prop up traditional couture strategies and focused on architecture, symbolism, and minimalism. Here are the top 5 most unique designs that made an appearance at the Schiaparelli Haute Couture SS22 runway
Sun Goddess
This gorgeous piece had everyone’s jaw dropped. Not only does this outfit complement the model’s skin tone beautifully, but it also makes her like a complete goddess. “Jeweled cage dress constructed from embossed ornaments composed of hand-molded leather and adorned with gold leaf, re-embroidered with cabochons, vintage jewels, rhinestones, and anatomical resin elements. Headdress on a metal structure is constructed from hand-molded leather with relief ornaments covered in gold leaf and embroidered with cabochons, vintage jewels, rhinestones, and anatomical resin elements.”
Planet’s Ring
Schiaparelli’s new designs really embraced the gold in all its outfits making it the main color on the palette. The golden metal structure on the top stands out not only because of its color but also because of its shape duplicating the lovely ring that surrounds the one and only planet Saturn.
“Corset bodice in canvas woven with black flowers in jacquard. Suspended by a hand-forged gilded Saturn ring. Mini skirt in black viscose and silk panne velvet.”
Golden Rings
This design looks like a walking sculpture, and we are loving it. As the previous deign Planet’s Ring, Roseberry seemed to have taken inspiration from planet Saturn’s ring because this golden top was mimicking the ring as well.

Galaxy Canvas
This lovely gown is simply stunning. The gown resembles a galaxy painting, with all of the galaxy’s distinctive parts such as the sun, stars, moon, and so on, giving mythology impressions.

Golden Ancient Star
