Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
Bollywood Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan took back her title as the Queen of Cannes after making a statement with this pink gown, inspired by the birth of Venus. The gown was custom-made by Indian designer Gaurav Gupta, which had a long train, and was covered in shimmery pleated details that looked like the waves from which Venus rose, it also featured a voluminous sculpted shell detail on her shoulders.
The Dubai-based model stood out at the French Riviera, while beautifully paying homage to Arab designers, in this tight-fitting black tulle gown from Atelier Zuhra, which was topped with a black ruffled cape. The dress had a deep plunging neckline and was covered in crystal ornaments.
To add some color to her look, the international supermodel wore a ruby chocker and earring set from the Nour by Jahan Pure Passion collection.
Brazilian model Alessandra Ambrosio looked like she was soaring through the clouds while wearing a white ball gown from French fashion designer Stéphane Rolland. The gown that gave us strong Met Gala vibes had a poofy skirt, as well as crystal details are sewn over a mesh top, which made them look suspended over her chest and abdomen. The 41-year-old model paired the look with silk opera gloves and matching silver earrings and necklace.
US-based influencer Jessica Wang brought her A-game to Cannes in this dazzling Tony Ward couture dress. The shimmery dress in purple and yellow ombre was covered with a purple cape. Wang posted a photo of this stunning gown on her Instagram account, and captioned it “I heard there’s a new superhero in town, just expect her to always be at least 10min late”
Deepika Padukone slayed at the Cannes Film Festival red carpet in this black and gold metallic dress, custom-made by Louis Vuitton. The dress featured dramatic shoulder details and oversized fringed sleeves that looked like wings. The Jury member let the dress do all the talking, by keeping her accessories minimal, and only wearing triangle-shaped earrings, in addition to a few rings.
