On Wednesday 31st March 2021, Saudi born modern home fashion brand, aura launched its Ramadan 2021 Capsule Collection across all KSA and UAE stores for the occasion of the Holy Month. Inspired by the essence of Ramadan and the quality family time spent during this special time of the year, the aura Ramadan 2021 Collection features two dining ranges and one decorative accessories range. These include the CALLIGRAFIA, a formal dinnerware curation, inspired by the region’s artform, and the FAMIGLIA, a playful cartoon set designed with the whole family in mind, along with a range of decorative tabletop essentials in various shapes and geometric patterns.
The CALLIGRAFIA range, designed by Saudi-based artists Shaker, features descriptive calligraphy that embodies the sentiment of Ramadan with words such as forgiveness, charity, giving, spirituality, and strength. With a more formal yet modern aesthetic, the dinnerware pieces are designed in black and white colours with a hint of gold, and showcasing intricate arabesque patterns.
The FAMIGLIA dinnerware range, designed by Layan Al Hamed, showcases quirky yet refined cartoon characters in a black and white colour palette with gold leaf motifs. Each illustrated character represents the different family members including mother, father, son, daughter, grandmother and grandfather and beautifully depicts the role and meaning of each within the
family unit. Made from the finest porcelain in Portugal, both ranges are completed with matching coffee and teacups made with glass from Lebanon.
Furthermore, aura has developed a handmade decorative accessories range for the Holy Month, specifically curated from India. Perfectly complementing your home decor, the collection features ornaments, lanterns and trays designed in dark marble wood with in-laid
shells.
