This event is the calling card for some of the most fashionable international stars as they’ve made their appearance at the film festival along with their stylists and couture in hand. The 11-day event has created a spotlight for looks ranging from quintessential to dauntless as the ensembles revolve around floor-length gowns, stylish dresses, and formal pantsuits. Without further ado, here are the celebrities who rocked the best dresses at the Venice Film Festival!
Adriana Lima, the Brazilian supermodel, made her grand appearance at the Venice Film Festival in a sparkling, strapless red gown. This low-cut, thigh-high slit gown included cutouts along her sides and torso was designed by Etro. This gown had a beautiful train, cutouts in all the right places to accentuate her figure and it was accessorized with gold drop earrings and a gold bracelet from Pomellato.
Adriana Lima embodied a goddess in this golden glass dress by Etro. This gold dress is adorned with glass beads and crystals making it a reflective and stunning ensemble. Etro created this halter dress with a low back and side cutouts as well as cutouts along her torso to accentuate and show off her silhouette. Adriana paired this graceful dress with a pair of gold sandal heels and her hair was styled sleekly with a middle part to highlight the classiness of the ensemble.
Zendaya, the American actress and singer, rocked the Venice Film Festival in this Valentino blazer and dress. Law Roach styled her in this fashionable ensemble which included a deep neckline, a thigh-high slit, and an over-sized pink bow tied around the waist. The blazer and dress were paired with Bulgari jewelry to accessorize along with a pair of Christian Louboutin black leather platform pumps. This entire ensemble highlighted Zendaya’s legs and figure as the white dress hung loosely on her skin and flowed behind her creating a mini train as she walked. The Valentino blazer and dress were a smartly styled outfit.
Another eye-catching red carpet look was served by none other than Zendaya. Law Roach styled Zendaya in a nude-colored leather gown by Balmain which was sculpted to match Zendaya’s silhouette to a T. This leather Balmain dress hugged Zendaya’s frame perfectly with intricate details of creasing along her torso and waist where the dress would normally scrunch up creating a “wet” look. Zendaya and Law drew the inspiration for this dress from a 19th-century Italian marble statue, Undine Rising from the Fountain. This dress was styled with wet brown hair parted down the middle with her edges set and styled. The Balmain dress consisted of a thigh-high slit to show off her toned legs and it was paired with nude pointed Louboutin heels. The accessories paired with this dress consisted of a Bulgari emerald necklace, a matching ring, and a pair of diamond stud earrings.
Patricia Contreras, the Mexican-Italian actress, made a grand appearance at the Venice Film Festival wearing a pale pink gown designed by Christophe Guillarme. This gown screams princess and class! As the dress is decorated with pale pink fringes along the shoulders and bodice of the dress and white embroidery on the corset down the waist. The tulle on the dress gives it the width and style of a princess gown typically worn at a ball and this red carpet event is no different than such a party. To accessorize this gown, Patricia paired it with an emerald necklace, bracelet, and earrings by Crivelli.
Mariacarla Boscono, the Italian model and actress, took over the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival in a gorgeous red wine-hued gown. The one-off-shoulder dress was designed by Jean Paul Gaultier. The gown had thigh-high slits on both legs where it was cut out at the hip to highlight Mariacarla’s silhouette. The train dragged behind her with every step she took and it looked flawless at the event! Mariacarla paired this dress with an emerald necklace and an emerald ring from Cartier and a pair of black stiletto heels.
Bianca Balti, the Italian model, looked like a princess in this stunning yellow gown that came straight off the runway from the Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda show. Dolce & Gabbana’s golden, ruffled, half-shoulder dress is ample and voluminous creating a beautiful silhouette for Bianca.
