Everyone has been talking about and obsessing about a new heel that made its launch in the Fall/Winter 2021 collection. You’ve probably seen those heels on celebrities’ feet or seen posts on social media from heel aficionados who want to buy them since their wardrobe and lives would forever be incomplete without those shoes. With its new Medusa Aevitas platform pumps, Versace made a great statement.

As described by Versace, the heels are “A statement runway design, these satin pumps feature a bold block heel and a double platform. The ankle strap is adorned with rhinestones, while a golden Medusa charm adds a hint of brand DNA.” The heels come in various colors to complete any gorgeous outfits you wear.
The Versace campaign featured Bella Hadid and Dua Lipa to promote the new collection. Bella Hadid wore a beautiful monochrome Fushia purple mini dress with purple Medusa Aevitas platform pumps on the Versace AW21 runway. Dua Lipa debuted as the new face of Versace with a breathtaking red monochromatic look that included the sky-high Medusa Aevitas platform heels in a picture shoot.

Many celebrities have been spotted rocking the new Versace platform heels including Beyoncé, Ariana Grande, Addison Rae, Chiara Ferragni, Babe Rexha, and many more. Beyoncé attending her husband’s 40/40 Club anniversary celebration, Babe Rexha going to her friend’s dinner party, and Addison Rae attending Milan fashion week in Italy were all spotted going to those events in full Versace looks that included the iconic Versace pink Barbie like satin platform heels.

We all know Ariana Grande has a fondness for heels because she rarely wears flats, and these Versace platforms screams her name. She made many appearances in the Medusa Aevitas platform pump. When she appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, she donned black ones with her adorable purple mini dress. She also rocked yellow ones during her skit on The Late Late Show. Let’s also not forget about the stunning brown ones she wore with her sparkling golden mini dress. I’m not sure how her tiny legs can support such high heels, but what a queen!
