On the 5th of January, the 82nd Golden Globes was held in Beverly Hills, California. This iconic event was hosted by the glamorous Nikki Glaser who kept everyone laughing and on their toes throughout the night. This night hosted a large amount of celebrities that were being honoured for their 2024 achievements. Not only were we excited to see who won the awards but we were excited to see what and who, our favourite celebrities were wearing! This is a list of the 15 best beauty looks in our opinions so keep reading to see if you agree.
1. Nikki Glaser
Nikki Glaser stunned audiences with her many different wardrobe changes throughout the night. However, her red carpet outfit took people’s breath away with a stunning cool-toned, bronze gown. Glaser paired her dress with a simple makeup look to let the dress and accessories shine. She went for a classic blowout hairstyle to show off her earrings that perfectly paired with the colours of her dress.
2. Zendaya
Zendaya amazed people with her new chocolate brown, short bob hairstyle and a massive rock on her finger! The elegant dress, designed by Louis Vuitton and jewellery by Bulgari was perfectly complemented by her chic makeup look. A stunning chocolate brown smokey eye and nude lip created the perfect silhouette to bring this entire look together. This is one of the best looks Zendaya has ever worn on the red carpet, and we hope she keeps serving looks like this for years to come!
3. Demi Moore
Demi Moore looked absolutely beautiful in her Armani Prive gown and Cartier jewellery. This jewellery was the perfect accompaniment to her gorgeous floor length golden gown with diamonte embellishments. The makeup she chose to pair with this look with was perfect to create a cohesive vibe for the red carpet. Her dark smokey eye and long lashes blend perfectly with her beautifully defined eyebrows and dark, long hair. It was a big night for Demi Moore and we love the look that she chose to wear for this very special night!
4. Emma Stone
Emma Stone stepped out onto the red carpet in a beautiful crimson dress made by Louis Vuitton. She shocked people with her brand new pixie cut which went perfectly with the strapless dress showing off her decolletage. The makeup for this look was paired beautifully with her dress. A simple, light coverage foundation with light blush and gorgeous pink toned glossy lip stick. This is a look we are absolutely in love with!
5. Rachel Smith
Rachel Smith looked gorgeous wearing a gold ankle length Rabanne dress that draped off of her shoulders. The dress also acted as a necklace with there being a large rose statement piece placed on her collarbone. Her eye makeup was done beautifully with a brown smokey eye, and rose gold sparkling eyelid. The winged eyeliner created a beautiful lift of her eyes and directs to her beautiful updo. She paired this stunning outfit with a gorgeous braided updo to show off amazing golden earrings that dangled to her jawline. This look is beautiful and we love the gold vibe!
6. Dakota Fanning
Dakota Fanning looked beautiful in a full red, monochromatic look. The stunning floor length gown with a chiffon scarf attachment perfectly draped over her shoulder. The makeup for this look was beautifully understated with a gorgeous pop of colour on her lips to tie the entire look together. Fanning has a light brown eyeshadow on that was blended out with a light wing eyeliner and mascara. Her cheeks were perfectly highlighted with blush and a light glow on her skin from a dewy foundation. We love this look!
7. Leighton Meester
Leighton Meester wore a beautifully classic look for this years Golden Globes. Stepping out in a stunning lime green Versace dress and a gorgeously sparkling matching diamond necklace and bracelet. This beautiful look was topped off with simple yet elegant makeup and hair. The updo shoed off her beautiful curtain bangs that perfectly framed her face. The makeup accentuates stunning, sculpted cheek bones with a dusting of bronzer. We loved seeing Meester on the red carpet this year!
8. Miley Cyrus
Miley Cyrus took to the carpet in a stunning dress, designed by Celine. She paired this one-of-a-kind look with a classic rocker chic hairstyle that only she could pull off. The thick bangs, paired with perfectly placed feathers of hair in an updo. Cyrus’ makeup look was perfect to complete the look by adding an extra bit of grunge. A slightly darker smokey eye with lovely thick lashes is classic Miley and we love it!
9. Ariana Debose
Ariana Debose looked gorgeous in her Oscar de la Renta gown on the red carpet. The warm toned chocolate brown dress was paired with beautiful golden accessories, a necklace and long dangling earrings. Her outfit was combined with a beautifully bronzed makeup look, creating divinely sculpted cheekbones. As well as this, there was a dusting of blush to add a flush of pink to her cheeks. This look was absolutely gorgeous and the perfect way to start off 2025.
10. AwkwafinaÂ
Awkwafina looked absolutely beautiful on the red carpet dressed in head to toe Jenny Packham. This is a more toned down outfit in comparison to others on the carpet, but it is incredibly beautiful and elegant. The makeup that the star chose to pair with this outfit is the perfect accompaniment to this elegant look. A light coverage foundation, mixed with a dusting of blush, cat eye lashes and a light pink lip. We love this for Awkwafina and we can’t wait to see more from her in 2025!
11. Kate Winslet
Kate Winslet stunned on the carpet, walking out in a beautiful black and white Erdem suit. This design is perfectly elegant for someone as iconic as Winslet and she accompanied it with a stunningly light makeup look. The strong eyebrows combined with a light covering of foundation, and minimal bronzer. The use of minimal mascara and a light brown eyeshadow create a brilliant overall makeup look, to then be accompanied by a light pink lipstick. This look is definitely iconic and something we hope to see more of.
12. Kate Hudson
Kate Hudson always gets it right for her looks on the red carpet, and goodness did she stun audiences at the Golden Globes! This gorgeous Carolina Herrera strapless gown perfectly compliments both Hudson’s skintone and eye colour. To accompany this outfit, she adorned a beautifully thick diamond and sapphire necklace. The makeup and hair perfectly compliment the overall look. A lovely light coverage roundaiton with minimal blush and a simple nude lip created the perfect subtle glam to make sure the dress and necklaces got their moments!
13. Zoe Saldana
Zoe Saldana’s look absolutely stunned on the red carpet of the Golden Globes. Her outfit was perfectly paird with a slickback bun to show off the amazing necklace that she adorned. Saldana’s makeup look was amazing, combining a beautiful brown smokey eye, and a gorgeous winged lash. The jewellery was perfect to accompany the strapless v neck dress and complete the overall look.
14. Justine Lupe
Justine Lupe looked gorgeous in her midnight blue Prada gown with pearlescent embellishments. The colour of the dress perfectly complimented her eye colour and created a beautiful contrast with her beautiful blonde hair. The makeup she wore with this look was a combination of high coverage foundation that was gorgeously blended, along with bronzer to accentuate her sharp cheek bones. A light dusting of blush on her cheeks added a lovely pop of pink to her cheeks and matched her lipstick.
15. Margaret Qualley
Margaret Qualley never missed with her amazing looks and this look is no exception. Her beautifully retro look was created by Chanel to perfectly complement her style. Qualley’s hair and makeup were devine and created a beautiful angelic style. Her makeup combined lightweight foundation with a beautiful dusting of a bronzey blush and a light brown smokey eye creating the perfect cateeye shape. The pop of pink on her lips contrasts the stunning white and black outfit. We hope to see more looks like this from the star.
