French-Canadian singer Celine Dion is one of the most iconic artists of the past 30 years. Since achieving international fame with singles such as the Oscar-winning “My heart will go on”, the five-time Grammy Award winning singer has been considered one of the most successful voices in pop music thanks to her vocal prowess and emotional singing.
Celine Dion is not just a wonderful musician, but for decades she has mesmerized through her sophisticated and chic looks that have accompanied her since the beginning of her career.
Following her latest surprising appearance at the Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Summer Olympics, it is time to revisit some of the most famous looks of one of the most iconic artists in the world through her voice and style.
Early red carpet looks

One the historic night of the 1997 Academy Awards, Celine Dion became the first artist to perform two songs during the Oscars.
She attended the glamourous event dressed head-to-toe by Chanel. The silver, pewter and white stones dress featuring a deep V-neck couture gown from Chanel’s Spring-Summer 1997 haute couture collection was perfectly complemented with a platinum and diamonds comet-shaped necklace.
On the 71st Oscars edition in 1999, Celine changed her style and stepped onto the red carpet wearing a glamorous white tuxedo designed by John Galliano (Dior), but she decided to wear it backwards to show her nude back and completed with a white fedora, proving her bold sense of fashion and inclination to the unconventional.
Celine stunned audiences at the 2003 Billboard Music Awards in a pale-yellow gown by Roberto Cavalli with extreme cut-out detailing and perfectly blond hair matching the bright outfit.
Fashion weeks in haute couture looks

In the early spring of 2020, Celine Dion appeared on the streets of New York in the perfect seasonal outfit that was presented a few days earlier at the NY Fashion Week. This Oscar de la Renta outfit featured a cropped cable-knit sweater with a three-dimensional embellished floral motif and a voluminous and oversized ball skirt with chrysanthemum prints accessorized with thigh-high white patent leather boots.
During that same spring and keeping the focus on a floral mood, the Canadian singer showcased a chic and classic 1960s style look. She walked the streets of New York in a Moncler 8 Richard Quinn coat and pantyhose stockings with light blue daisy pattern complemented by Féroce’s Emerald sunglasses and a Marge Sherwood croc-embossed leather bag.
Attending the 2019 Haute Couture Paris Fashion Week, she stunned all attendees in an Iris Van Herpen coral, brown and black sheer dress. A hypnotic and mind-bending dress playing with optical illusions showing all of Celine’s sex appeal.
Street style looks

Iconic even with her street style, Celine opted for a more fun combination, mixing the feather top texture by The Attico with a pair of jeans by Ksenia Schnaider with one leg rolled up to the calf and finalizing the look with a Fendi bag.
Spotted during another Couture Fashion Week, the singer opted for a colorful and youthful street look by Maison Margiela by wearing a yellow dress resembling a raincoat topped with a knitted wool blazer and completed with a chunky pair of sneakers and a Y/Project bag.
She took the streets of Paris with another diva look by wearing an oversized blazer and a graphic T-shirt by Vetements ensembled with a black skirt, pointed pumps and The Heart of the Ocean Diamond necklace designed by jewelers Asprey & Garrard – an homage to the Titanic’s iconic jewel.
Finally, Celine emerged in a pure street style wearing a youthful oversized white printed hoodie with the phrase “I’m worth it”, paired with a pair of rolled-up acid wash jeans and metallic pumps.

Celine Dion looked absolutely stunning in an ivory off-shoulders mini dress featuring exaggerated sleeves by Alexandre Vauthier’s collection, paired with golden sandals and an interesting twist high chignon.
The 2019 Met Gala celebrating the campiest looks was the perfect occasion for Celine Dion to dare with a bold choice, wearing a fringed silver minidress by Oscar de la Renta featuring a towering, feathered headpiece and t-strap heels by Chloe Gosselin.
Making a surprise appearance at the 2024 Grammy Awards, the Canadian singer showed up in a Valentino Haute Couture coat and gown.
Her latest comeback to close the Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Olympics was an emotional moment driven by her powerful performance. Celin sparkled like a star wearing an elegant high-neck silver gown bejeweled in white diamonds by Dior and a long-tasseled cape embroidered with fringe and sequins.
