Emma Stone Shows Off Retro ’60s Pixie at Golden Globes 2025

Talk about stealing the spotlight at the 2025 Golden Globes: Emma Stone left our jaws agape with a super-short pixie cut.

The actress showed up with a chic, classic pixie that was worlds apart from her previous red-carpet look. While she maintained her signature warm brunette color, her hair was way shorter than the flipped-out long bob she sported last year when she won for Poor Things. This time, Stone went for a ’60s-inspired gamine crop just a few inches in length that was styled for softly tousled texture with effortless movement — courtesy of her go-to hairstylist, Mara Rozak, no doubt.

With her hair being so much of a focal point-even pulled back and short- Stone kept things sweet and simple with her gown. Ticking off one of the many trends for the evening, she went strapless in a rich ruby red and added an exaggerated ribbon belt at the waist. She completed the look with some stud earrings in jewels. The Globe-winning actress kept makeup soft and understated with a smudge of pink blush, a rosy lip, and a subtle flick of eyeliner.

If there’s ever a perfect time for a bold style statement, it’s the kick-off of awards season. As one of last year’s standout winners, Stone is sure to make plenty of red-carpet appearances that put her fresh pixie cut front and center. Just think about all the options: sleek and smooth; spiked and edgy; soft and tousled.
