It appears that everywhere you turn, people are embracing the bob with a twist, opting for retro flipped ends. From Jennifer Lopez to America Ferrera, Ayo Edebiri, Emma Stone, and many others, celebrities are flaunting this vintage-inspired look. The trend gained even more traction at the Golden Globes, becoming the signature hairstyle of the award season. Joining the ranks of those who have embraced this trend is none other than Gigi Hadid.
On March 14, Hadid took to social media to showcase her latest makeup look along with her freshly styled bob. Amidst her array of Maybelline products (a brand she has long been associated with), her new hairstyle stole the spotlight in the series of selfies.
Gigi flaunted her deeper roots and golden blonde ends with a deep side part in her hair. Then she arranged the right side of her hair across her face, letting it fall to just above shoulder length, brushing her cheekbones and eyes.
Gigi sported a simple version of the flippy bob, not as dramatic or curly as some of the most iconic versions of the look. This flip only gently inclined her hair upwards, rather than giving her bob a full-on curl at the ends. Her usually elegant appearance gained volume, bounce, and movement with this slight flick.
