H&M Launches a Capsule Collection and Film Merchandise to Celebrate Universal Pictures’ “Wicked” Release

This autumn, get ready to be transported to the musical Land of Oz with a H&M Wicked capsule collection and merch in collaboration with Universal Products & Experiences. Inspired by the Land of Oz and iconic characters Glinda and Elphaba from the film, there are 12 pieces in the collection: from a sharp-shouldered blazer and dramatically draped dress to graphic t-shirts and sweaters — almost all in witchy black, of course. The H&M Wicked collection will be available in selected stores with prices starting from KWD 8.99 / SAR 119 / AED 99 / QAR 99 / EGP 1099 in KWT, UAE, KSA, EGY & QTR from 8 October.

The collection’s silhouettes conjure up a sharply tailored black blazer with an hourglass shape, a black bandeau top with wiring that creates curved details, and a black dress with spaghetti straps, a draped top and asymmetric hemline. There’s also an oversized washed black crewneck logo sweater with distressed details, a boxy washed black hoodie with silver foil logo at the back, and four different merch t-shirts featuring graphics of Elphaba, Glinda and the Wicked logo.

Different fabrics and techniques emphasize rich textures – mesh, wooly woven, heavy washed jersey, distressed knits, embroidery and pleather. For the accessories, the focus is on the ‘W’ with a curvy handbag, sparkly earring and embossed belt.

Universal Pictures’ Wicked premieres in theatres worldwide on 22 November 2024. The H&M Wicked collection will be available in selected stores with prices starting from KWD 8.99 / SAR 119 / AED 99 / QAR 99 / EGP 1099 in KWT, UAE, KSA, EGY & QTR from 8 October.
