If this is something that you are interested in then this list might be for you. We have created a list of 5 different hair colour trends that might inspire you for the coming year.

1. Espresso Brunette

You don’t need to be a coffee lover to adore this season’s trending brunette shade. Espresso hair colour is here, lending a rich dimension with a cool, dark brown base and a shot of subtle, smoky highlights. As potently deep as a cup of the good stuff – without the caffeine jitters, of course – this dramatic brown hue is building buzz amongst shine-seeking brunettes. If you are looking for a stunning mixture of brunette with golden, beautiful highlights then this is the look for you. Try this out or have a look at our Espresso Brunette article which shows you similar hair colours that will inspire you!

2. Cherry Cola Red

The recent trend, ‘Cherry Cola’ hair, refers to “a chocolatey brown base hue with deep, reddish-burgundy overtones.” It is a “captivating shade (which) features a fusion of rich brown and vibrant red hues, taking inspiration from the beloved soda.” This beautiful colour is stunning for those who want to opt for a more daring hair look this winter but make sure to get the right shade for your skin tone. “The warm and cool undertones of cherry cola hair make it wearable for most skin tones. On fair to medium skin tones, the richness of cherry cola adds warmth and depth. Against darker skin tones, it creates a dramatic contrast.”

3. Strawberry Copper

Copper is a winter classic and has been for many years. “Copper hair is an eye-catching but natural-looking shade of red, with warm, rich tones. It can contain hues of red, ginger, brown and blonde, with golden undertones like bronze and gold. There are many different shades of copper hair, ranging from dark shades of copper brown to lighter, golden tones with a hint of strawberry blonde.” Strawberry copper is a lovely combination of strawberry blonde and copper, which creates a lovely pale copper colour for those who don’t want to go too rich with the colour. This shade is worth a try for these next few Winter months and it will look even better if you are planning on going to a snowy place!

4. Dark Chocolate Brunette

“Chocolate brown hair colour is dark, classic and endlessly flattering for women of all ages and skin tones. Using different dyeing techniques and styles, chocolate hair can take on diverse accents and be adapted to look fuller, shinier, and richer. Dark tones like chocolate hair colour are easier to maintain as they require fewer trips to the salon.” When it comes to ‘Dark Chocolate Brunette’ the focus is mainly on shades of black and deeper brown colours that create a stunning combination that intertwines perfectly together to get the desired look for you and your hair. This look is a need to try if you are a natural brunette, adding a bit of black or a darker shade of brown to your hair can provide a perfect layer of dimension this winter.

5. Icy Blonde

“Icy blonde hair colour is bright, ashy, and cool-toned. It has none of the warmth that a honey-blonde or strawberry-blonde hair colour has. Icy blonde is similar to platinum blonde in terms of brightness but with an emphasis on ash tones. It’s an exciting, edgy hair colour with extreme brightness and cool tones that makes a statement on anyone.” This shade of blonde is similar to but slightly different to platinum blonde as “Platinum blonde is a bright blonde hue but it tends to have undertones of yellow and overall warmth throughout. Icy blonde hair is ashy and cool-toned, often appearing white or even silver in colour.” If you are a platinum girlie and are looking to change it up a bit, why not go icy instead?!
