The British Academy Film Awards, more commonly known as the BAFTA Awards were presented last Sunday at the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall; the perfect venue picturesquely located on the banks of the River Thames. The ceremony, needless to say, was star studded and eventful, with the red carpet brimming with celebrities clad in the best of fashion.
Hosted by David Tennant, this year’s list of nominees and awardees were also wholesome and deserving as always, with some of them being veterans in creating award-worthy movies. Before the talented producers, directors, actors, and other masters in the craft of filmmaking made their way into the 2700-seat theatre to celebrate their wins, each one graced the red carpet looking their best.
Here are the top 5 best dressed stars from the BAFTA Awards 2024.
Dua Lipa
Dua Lipa chose to stick to the “it” color of the season with a stunning red Valentino gown, which matched perfectly with her red hair. She accessorized with Tiffany & Co. jewelry and completed the look with simple minimal makeup.
Emma Stone
Emma Stone wore an elegant one-shoulder peach gown with an exaggerated puff sleeve by Louis Vuitton. She matched the ensemble with pieces from the same brand’s high jewelry collection.
Lily Collins
Lily Collins totally lived up to her character from “Emily in Paris” by wearing a stunning black Tamara Ralph gown with floral rosette sleeves and embellished detailing. She accessorized with Cartier jewelry, black platform heels, and a bold maroon lip.
Florence Pugh
Florence Pugh appeared in a lovely black-and-white corseted gown by Harris Reed; the highlight of the outfit being the sparkling white contrasting corset. She paired the look with gorgeous black velvet stole and a long diamond necklace by Boucheron.
Taylor Russell
Taylor Russell has lately earned the label of the star that never fails on the red carpet, and her look for the night proved it. She went for a dramatic white Loewe gown with feather trims, a high neck, and figure-flattering cutouts. She paired it with dramatic Tiffany & Co earrings to complete the look.
From peaches to whites to bold blacks and shimmers, the BAFTA red carpet had it all this year. More award nights coming up including the prestigious Oscars in March; we can’t wait to see what the stars showcase.
